Question

When a Female is on Haiz, is she allowed to recite ASMA UL HUSNA, ASMA UL NABI صلى الله عليه وسلم, DALAIL UL KHAIRAAT SHAJRAH SHAREEF, QASIDAH GHOUSIA.? Date 27/07/2021

Answer

It is permissible for women to recite all the Azkaar (words of remembrance of Allah), Kalimah Shareef, Durood Shareef etc. with the exception of reciting the Holy Qur'an during menstruation, and it is mustahab (desirable) to recite it with wudu or after rinsing the mouth, as it has been mentioned in Bahaar e Shariat: With the exception of reciting the Qur'an, it is not only permissible but also mustahab (desirable) without any objection to recite all other Azkaar (words of remembrance of Allah) such as the Kalimah Shareef and Durood Shareef etc. it is however better to make wudu or to rinse the mouth before reciting these. If one reads these without wudu or without rinsing the mouth, it is still regarded as being permissible. There is also no objection to touching these as well.[Bahaar e Shariat (English) part 2 page 176 / Imam Mustafa Raza Centre]

And in Fataawa Shaami, it is as follows:

Translation: There is no harm for menstruating women and junubi (one in an impure state) in reciting, touching or lifting the duaas, remembering and glorifying Allah Almighty. (Fataawa Shaami Volume 1 page number 659 / Zia-ulQuran Publications Lahore) *And Allah knows best*
