Are making shadow puppets are prohibited?
Question
This is in regards to Question 728. I was wondering if this applied to shadow puppets too, or simply playing with one's shadow as if it were a pretend person?
Answer
Playing with ones shadow is a futile act and prohibited.

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Darul Iftaa Mahmudiyyah (AskImam). It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
