Can I rent out my space for an ATM machine?
Question
I. Have shop and i want to give bank For . ATM. It is allowed yes or no.
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Yes, it is permissible to rent your shop or a portion of your shop for an ATM machine.
The ATM fees charged to the customers using the machine is a service charge in lieu of the privilege to use the ATM and not interest.
As a result, the rent received will be halal. [i] [ii]
