Can adults and children model and act?

i searched and read the below link from your website about modeling
If we avoid what contradicts sharia, can adults and children model and act? I understand some scholars have permitted picture taking. modeling can involve wearing winter cloths. Acting can be in toys. Maybe you can tell us some of the principles of what contradicts sharia, inshallah
