I swallowed a drop of tear intentionally while fasting
Question
Assalamu alaikum
If a single drop of tear enters fasting person's mouth and able to taste the saltiness (not in complete mouth but only at small spot on tongue) and knowingly swallows it. Does it invalidates the fast? If so, does he have to make qada or kaffara.

As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh
It is makrooh (disliked) to taste anything in the state of fasting.[1]In the enquired situation, if one or two tears enter the mouth in the state of fasting, that will not invalidate the fast.[2] However, if there are more tears and one tastes the saltiness of the tears completely in the mouth, then one will have to make Qadha.[3]

(كره ذوق شيء ومضغه بلا عذر) أما كراهة الذوق فلأنه تعريض لإفساد صومه
الدر المختار شرح تنوير الأبصار وجامع البحار (ص: 148)
وهو الاصل في كل قليل مضغه (وكره) له (ذوق شئ و) كذا (مضغه بلا عذر) قيد فيهما.
الجوهرة النيرة على مختصر القدوري (1/ 142)
(قَوْلُهُ وَمَنْ ذَاقَ شَيْئًا بِفِيهِ لَمْ يُفْطِرْ) لِعَدَمِ الْمُفْطِرِ صُورَةً وَمَعْنًى.

وفي «الواقعات» : للصدر الشهيد رحمه الله: الدمع إذا دخل فم الصائم إن كان قليلاً، كالقطرة والقطرتين لا يفسد صومه، وإن كان كثيراً حتى وجد ملوحته في جميع فمه، وابتلعه يفسد صومه، وكذلك الجواب في عرق الوجه.
