Question

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته How to develop intense love for Rasool Allah (saw) in an easy way ?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Having love for Rasulullah (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam) is an integral part of Imaan. Rasulullah (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam) has mentions in a Hadith:

Translation: “It was narrated that Anas (Radhiallahuanhu) said: The Prophet (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him than his father, his child and all the people.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol1 Page12)

The swiftest way to attain intense love for Rasulullah (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam) is by inculcating every single Sunnah of Rasulullah (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam) in one’s life. True love for Rasulullah (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam) can only be attained by adopting the Sunnah lifestyle of Rasulullah (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam).

One may also recite abundant Durood Shareef upon Rasulullah (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam), as this also creates the love of Rasulullah (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam) in one’s heart.

You may obtain a copy of Qaseedah Burdah by my honourable teacher, Mufti Ebrahim Desai Saheb, to intensify the love of Rasulullah (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam). You may access it via the following link: https://daruliftaa.net/qaseeda-burdah/

We ask Allah Ta’ala to inculcate in us the true love for Rasulullah (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam) and make Him dearer to us than ourselves and the entire mankind. Aameen

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best

Mufti Ebrahim Desai.
