Subh Sadiq - How many minutes before this should one stop eating sehri?
Question
I am not sure if I am correct in understanding it if for instance in Johannesburg the subh saadiq time given is 5:15 am according to the generally prevalent namaz timetable:
1) How many minutes before this should one stop eating sehri and how many minutes after this is one allowed to read the sunnats of fajr.
2) Also in this in between time is performing salaah permitted jazakallah khairan

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
If the Fajr time (Subah Sadiq) sets in at 5:15am, then one could eat till just before 5:15am. However, it is advisable to exercise caution and stop eating before 5:15am, preferably five minutes before Subah Sadiq.
One may perform the Sunnats of Fajr as soon as Subah Sadiq sets in. It is not permissible to perform any Nafl Salaah besides the Sunnah of Fajr after Subah Sadiq until the Fajr Salaah is performed and until after complete sunrise.
