Kaffarah for dropping the Quran
Question
Is there any Kaffarah or penalty for accidently dropping the Quran?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
The Quran is the Kalam of Allah Ta’ala. It deserves one’s utmost respect and honour. If one unintentionally drops the Mushaf, he should seek forgiveness (Istighfaar) due to his negligence and exercise caution when handling the Quran in the future.[1]

قرآن کریم ہاتہ سے گر جانے پر اس کے برابر گندم خیرات کرنے کا مسئلہ جو عوام میں مشہور ہے، یہ کسی کتاب میں نہیں،اس کوتاہی پر توبہ و استغفار کرنا چاہیے اور صدقہ خیرات کرنے کا بھی مضائقہ نہیں۔
