The Imam reciting the Takbeers softly
Question
Asalam alaykum
If Imam read takbeers of Salah softly does the Salah breaks or not? Or is sajidah sahw necessary?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is Sunnah to recite the Takbeers loudly. The Salaah performed with soft Takbeers does not break and there is no Sajdah Sahw. However, the Imam will be going against the Sunnah by making the Takbeers softly.[i]

ووجهه ان تكبيراة الافتتاح شرط او ركن فلا بد في تحقيقها من قصد الاحرام اي الدخول في
الصلاةز و اما التسميع من الاحرام و التحميد من البلغ و تكبيرات الانتقالات اذا قصد بما ذكر
الاعلان فقط فلا فساد للصلاةز
قال في شرح التنوير في سسن الصلاة وجر الامام بالتكبير بقدر حاجته للاعلام الدخول و
الانتقال و كذا بالتسميع و السلام و في الشامية و اشار بقوله و الانتقال الي ان المراد بالتكبير
هنا ما يشمل تكبير الاحرام و غيره و به صرح في الضياع

و لم يبين المصنف حد الجهر و الاخفاء للاختلاف مع الاختلاف التصحيح فذهب الكراخي الي
ان ادني الجهر اي يسمع نفسه و ادني المخافة تصحيح الحروف
.
