Question

Can the hair be cut in this case? If a woman's hair is damaged due to frequent use of chemical based hair relaxer, can she cut it and grow it naturally so that she stops using it?

Answer

The reason furnished to cut the hair is not very valid. She should desist from using the chemical-based product and, Insha Allah, the damaged hair will repair itself overtime.
