Keeping the name Marsha
Question
I wanted to know if one is allowed to name a child for which there is no Arabic meaning to the name? I thought of a name for my child "Marsha" and could not find the Arabic meaning. Am I allowed to keep this name?
Answer
Don't keep this name. We are commanded to keep the names of Ambiyaa and the pious of the past.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
