Woman staying at home for 40 days after childbirth
Question
Is it an Islamic tradition for a woman to stay in the house for full 40 days after giving birth or is it just an old tradition?
Answer
This has no basis in Islam.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
