Giving sadaqah from childrens money
Question
My daughter has received money as a gift. She is still a baby. I wish to take out sadaqah on her behalf for the building of a masjid. Will it be
permissable for me to use the money she has received as she cannot give consent?
Answer
No.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
