Question

Can you please recommend some authentic books on Islamic history? Mainly relating to the early modern to modern period from the 12th century till 20th century. Anything before that will also be helpful.

Answer

The authentic books that we know off are in Arabic or urdu. The book on the seerat of Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), Seeratul Mustafa also seems to be quite authentic and reliable and it is available in English.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Mufti Online — Madrasah Ta'leemuddeen. It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
