How to pronounce damma
Question
When elongating with a damma are we meant to say "Uw" or "Oo" like in the name Daawuwd, is the elongation meant to sound like "Wuwd" or "Wood"?
Answer
It must be elongated like in the word 'food'.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
