The method of removing the pubic hair and how often should it be removed?

Could you please tell me the way to remove the hairs around penis & vagina? Please explain separately for males & Females. Please explain till what area, hairs should be removed. Please explain how to remove hairs surrounding Anus.
Answer
It is an emphasized Sunnah for both, males and females to remove the pubic hair. It is preferable that it be removed with the blade although other hair removing methods are permitted. Pubic hair in the Hadith refers to the hair immediately surrounding the private organ and the anus.
The pubic hair should be removed regularly as one senses that it is growing long. Some Ulama have prescribed that it be removed weekly. It should not be left to grow for more than forty days as allowing the hair to grow for longer than forty days has been prohibited in the Hadith. وأما الاستحداد فهو حلق العانة سمى استحدادا لاستعمال الحديدة وهي الموسى وهو سنة والمراد به نظافة ذلك الموضع والأفضل فيه الحلق ويجوز بالقص والنتف والنورة والمراد بالعانة الشعر الذي فوق ذكر الرجل وحواليه وكذاك الشعر الذي حوالي فرج المرأة ونقل عن أبي العباس بن سريج أنه الشعر النابت حول حلقة الدبر فيحصل من مجموع هذا استحباب حلق جميع ما على القبل والدبر وحولهما وأما وقت حلقه فالمختار أنه يضبط بالحاجة وطوله فاذا طال حلق وكذلك الضبط في قص الشارب ونتف الابط وتقليم الأظفار وأما حديث أنس المذكور في الكتاب وقت لنا في قص الشارب وتقليم الأظفار ونتف الابط وحلق العانة ألا يترك أكثر من أربعين ليلة
