Assalaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaahi Wa Barakaatuhu
In brief, dreams are of three types, i) Pious dreams, ii) Shaytaani dreams, and, iii) Reflections of the mind
Pious dreams are from Allah and Shaytaani dreams are from the Shaytaan. If one is unable to determine whether the dream is good or bad he should refer to an expert who understand the sciences of interpretations of dreams.
