I have a bump on my nose, can I perform surgery?

I have a bump on my nose and it could have been caused by an accident when I was younger but I'm not sure, although it's unlikely. Would it be permissible to correct it as it's quite large.

As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh
In principle, it is permissible to correct a defect in the body. If the bump on the nose is abnormal, it is permissible to undergo a corrective surgery. [1]
And Allah Ta’ala Knows Best.
