Can a woman in the state of istihaadha pray Tahajjud Salah and Fajr Salah with a single wudhu?
Question
If one is in the state of istihatha, and wakes up to pray the tahajjud prayer just a few minutes before fajr, after praying tahajjud, will she have to make a new wudhu again to pray fajr?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
A woman in istihādah will perform wudū for every prayer time and perform her salaah. In the situation, the woman therefore will have to perform her wudhu again for fajr salaah.
