AskImamDarul Iftaa Mahmudiyyah (AskImam)
Looking for a comprehensive Seerat on Nabi SAW.
Question
Please advise me on a good Seerat of the Prophet SAW. Also please advise on the Seerat Ar-Raheeq Al-Maktum (The Sealed Nectar). Jazakallah Ghair
Answer
I believe that Imaam Muhammad ibn Ishaaq's book on Seerah has been published in English. He is one of the authorities in the field of Seerah.
Al-Raheeq ul Makhtoom is quite a comprehensive work on Seerah. However, it should be borne in mind that in aspects of history one may find differences of opinions.

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Darul Iftaa Mahmudiyyah (AskImam). It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
