“It is not permissible to donate sperm because each part of a man deserves utmost respect due to the sanctity bestowed to humankind by Allah. Furthermore, there will be confusion in the lineage, which is against the objective of our religion. Also, donations of sperm are done through masturbation, which is forbidden.”

“In light of the principle of Sharī’ah, surrogacy is impermissible. If it was done in the past, then the lineage of the child will be attributed to the husband of the surrogate immaterial of the commissioner of the sperm. If the surrogate was not married, then the child will be attributed to her alone.”
