“This is not permissible. Through you building a social media app where users will post pictures of animate objects, you will be involved in the sin of photography as well as inviting others to commit this grave sin.”
“It is permissible to work in the IT department of Twitter.”
“Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms are primarily for entertainment. These platforms contain all sorts of Haraam including music, advertisements of Haraam and impermissible things, and consists of various other wrongs.”
“It is not permissible for males to socialize with females on social networks. Hence, it will not be permissible to include females on a WhatsApp group in order to share general messages.”
