Who must attend Jumu'ah, and what if I miss it?

“Yes. If one is in Mina on the day of Jumuah and performs Jumu’ah Salaah with all the conditions of Jumu’ah being found, then the Jumu’ah Salaaah will be valid. Among the conditions required for the validity of Jumu’ah in an Islamic country is that the khalifah or Muslim leader permits the Jumu’ah to take place.”

“The Fuqaha (Jurists) state that Jumu’ah is not Waajib on women. They should rather perform Zuhr. However, if a woman comes to the Haram and performs Jumu’ah Salaah with Jamaat, then it will absolve her from performing Zuhr, on condition the Imaam made intention for making Imaamat of the women as well.”
